Kickstart your career and empower the digital transformation 

The Young Digital Innovators Program is a two-year program for young professionals with 1-3 years of (relevant) work experience. As a Young Digital Innovator you are placed right in the middle of a corporate innovation team so you can have the highest impact and are part of the digital transformation. To empower you, you’ll be trained in a wide range of (digital) innovation skills, creative leadership, personal development and future technologies. Learn by doing, that’s what we believe in.

YOUR DAYS AS A YOUNG DIGITAL INNOVATOR

A Young Digital Innovator (YDI’er) has a wide range of activities. It is your responsibility to validate new business propositions, scale existing propositions, facilitate the innovation process and get the team along on your journey. You do this by sharing your knowledge of the lean startup methodology and accelerate execution with your digital skills. You can think of setting up (social) advertising campaigns, running experiments, facilitating brainstorm sessions, “getting out of the building” and conducting customer interviews.

THE PROGRAM EXPLAINED

During the program, you will be placed at companies for a three- to six-month period. After each project, you move on to the next company. Current YDI’ers are working at clients such as VIVAT, Friesland Campina, Unit4, RAI and Unilever. We ensure a mutual click between both parties, so you don’t have to worry about that. Once started, you will work at the client for 4 days a week. During these days you will facilitate and guide the team in its digital transformation. On Fridays, you work at The Talent Institute office and focus on personal development. Every other week there will be a workshop to make sure you stay on top of your game. Topics include public speaking, corporate structure, innovation strategy and (online) validation.

The job is really demanding and hectic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Right from the start I was in charge of online advertising, optimising the website and stimulating growth. On fridays we have dedicated training sessions to stay up to date. Jeroen
